      Purim celebration slated for March 9
            Chabad of North and South Brunswick will celebrate Purim 7 p.m. March 9 at Chabad House, 4100 Route 27, South Brunswick.       Mexican Purim Festival March 10
            Chabad Jewish Center of South Brunswick will hold a Mexican Purim Festival at 6 p.m. March 10 at Pierre's Ballroom, 582 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. The event will feature a Megillah reading, Mexican buffet dinner, Mexican crafts and games, a piñata and drum circle. Attendees may come in Mexican attire or a costume of their choice.

            The North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road, will welcome Gail Small on March 7 as she presents a program on her native state of Hawaii at 2 p.m. Eileen Levine of the Williamsburg Group will present "The Art of Interviewing" from 10:30 a.m. to noon March 10.

      VFW 9111 St. Paddy's dinner-dance March 14
            Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9111 of South Brunswick, 11 Henderson Road, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, will host a St. Patrick's dinnerdance 3-7 p.m. March 14.             South Brunswick High School Project Graduation will sponsor a used book sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 28 at the high school, 750 Ridge Road.       Library slates beef dinner, poetry, SAT
            The South Brunswick Public Library Foundation will hold an "all you can eat" dinner 7 p.m. March 7 at the South Brunswick Senior Center, Ridge Road. The dinner will feature filet mignon, salad, fries, beer and wine. There will be raffles. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased at the library or at www.sbpl.info/foundation.

            The Italian American Social Club, Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick, will hold a spaghetti dinner noon-4 p.m. March 15. The menu will feature spaghetti, meatballs, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Cost is $10, and $5 for children younger than age 12.
